Frequently asked

Do I have to attend mediation?

Mediation is a voluntary process. You are not required to attend mediation but we do encourage you to engage in the process. If you do not then the other party can seek a certificate to say you did not engage.

What technology do i need?

You need a phone, tablet or computer with a camera, microphone and speaker. We recommend using a computer or tablet for your mediation so your screen is bigger and clearer.

Do i have to have my camera on?

Yes, it is important we can see all parties in the mediation process. We recommend setting your device up in a comfortable location with no background noise and without you needing to hold the device for 3 hours (because you will have a sore arm!)

Do you offer in person mediation?

Yes. Kerstin is currently travelling Australia and can attend remote locations as needed. Please contact us to discuss pricing.

Should i get legal advice?

We strongly encourage you to obtain legal advice before attending mediation. This will help you in the process.

Do you offer lawyer-assisted mediation?

Yes, our pricing is different for lawyer-assisted mediation. Please send us an email to discuss.
